Elon Musk Follows F2Pool Co-Founder Chun Wang on X Platform as Historic SpaceX Polar Mission Launches

Cryptocurrency Mining Executive Self-Funds $200 Million SpaceX Mission with Revolutionary Scientific Agenda.

According to the disclosure information in @ElonAlertsX's X post, Elon Musk has just followed F2Pool co-founder Chun Wang (@satofishi) on the X platform. This digital connection comes as Wang embarks on a historic space mission.

SpaceX successfully launched the Fram-2 mission on Monday, March 31 at 9:46 p.m. ET from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This marks humanity's first crewed polar orbit flight, with the mission expected to last between 3-5 days.

Chun Wang, co-founder of the cryptocurrency mining pool F2Pool, has personally funded this groundbreaking mission at a cost of nearly $200 million. Wang serves as Mission Commander alongside Vehicle Commander Jannicke Mikkelsen, Vehicle Pilot Rabea Rogge, and Mission Specialist/Medical Officer Eric Philips. For all four crew members, this represents their first human spaceflight.

The Dragon spacecraft will travel in a 90-degree inclination polar orbit at an altitude between 425-450 kilometers, flying from the South Pole to the North Pole and back. During their multi-day journey, the crew will conduct 22 scientific experiments, including the first-ever X-ray examination of the human body in space, providing crucial data for space medicine research.

Other planned experiments include exercise studies to maintain muscle and skeletal mass and growing mushrooms in microgravity. After returning to Earth, the crew aims to exit the Dragon spacecraft without medical or operational assistance, helping researchers understand astronauts' ability to perform unassisted tasks after space missions.

The mission was carried out by a Falcon 9 rocket, with its first stage completing its sixth flight before successfully landing on the "A Shortfall of Gravitas" droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
