Binance Founder CZ Joins New Chat App: Pay 0.1 BNB for Direct Messaging Access

On March 26, Binance founder CZ has added a link to his X profile, directing users to a paid messaging platform called ReachMe. Through this platform, users can send private messages directly to CZ by paying 0.1 BNB. CZ emphasized that all proceeds from this service will be donated to charity. As of the time of writing, CZ has received 11 messages on ReachMe.

Meanwhile, ReachMe's official account posted a clarification, stating that the platform does not have any official tokens and warning users to stay vigilant against related scams.

ReachMe is a newly launched chat application, aiming to provide a direct communication channel between KOLs and their fans through BNB-based payments. The platform allows users to link their wallets, select a KOL they wish to contact, and pay a fee to send a message of up to 2,000 bytes in text-only format—images and links are not permitted.

Currently, ReachMe has onboarded 100 KOLs. Besides CZ, Binance's co-founder HeYi is also active on the platform, with a message to her costing 0.5 BNB. As of now, HeYi has received 8 messages. The platform's homepage highlights three KOLs who have received the most messages: Twitter users Sanya, Mihaita.eth, and Rand. All three are followed by ReachMe's official X account and are participants in another project called Droppod.

Droppod is a permissionless and social verification-based token distribution platform. It aims to optimize token allocation methods, such as airdrops and presales, while enhancing interaction between projects and their ecosystems. The goal is to make token distribution an integral part of project development.
